Wasabi Mashed Potatoes and Chefs De France

Getting to try some new spots for upcoming trips....I'm a foodie....rest of the family not so much, but they are obliging me! About Yak and Yeti....are the Wasabi Mashed potatoes really potent or is it just a hint? And what is your fave meal there? And about Chefs De France, is it better to go with the price fix menu or ala carte? Have free dining, so can go either way.....looks like ya get an app with the price fix, but you lose some options come entree time? Any body have a suggestion for a fave meal there.....all look great! TIA!

The wasabi mashed potatoes at Y&Y are awesome! It is also a part of my favorite Y&Y meal, the Skirt steak and shrimp. Thought I would miss the rice, but they are great ! Not too strong, have made them at home, and I kick it up a notch! The Won ton dessert is a don't miss, and we regularly go just for the mango pie.

Do you know if you can sub out the potatoes? I was planning on getting this in September but didn't realize it came with potatoes which I don't care for with or without wasabi. I'm much prefer rice or extra veggies.

I love the salmon at Chefs, hope it's the same preparation with the prix fixe. I have an ADR in September and plan on ordering it then.

We have always found them very willing to accommodate you at Y&Y. Sure that they would let you sub something. It also comes with veggies.
