Was told by MS today that ALL DVC resorts were sold out between 7/13-7/18!!

Does this happen during this time of the year often?!!! Even OKW was sold out thru 7/17.

I wonder if the fact that the DVC resorts were available for cash as a part of the Fairy Tale package had anything to do with it?

I keep checking airfare to see if I can get a long weekend with my 5-year-old, but it does not look good. Either I have the airfare, but no rooms or the airfare is too high. I was trying to get ASMovie, the only one she wants to stay in because of Buzzlightyear, and was told the rooms are completely sold out. Everything I checked was filled.

I just noticed you will be at BCV one day before us!!

YIKES! We'll be arriving at AKL on the 19th. I think we're in for it. Crowds, heat... Man, that darn ole' FTP got me! Call me a huge sucker!

We'll be at WDW that exact timeframe. I originally wanted this week, but when I called to make the reservation it was full...so I bumped it out a week. And even then I had a hard time finding a 1BR anywhere.

But thank goodness we weren't there this week. My 3yr old was very sick with high temp/sore throat virus last week. This week her 12yr old sister came down with it and she's been sick since Sunday. I'm sure hoping she turns a corner tomorrow or Saturday before we leave. And no one else is allowed to get sick - or else! I didn't buy trip insurance this time.

I'm pulling my WDW paperwork together tonight, doing laundry and will start packing in earnest tomorrow.
