the ban on spanking that is being proposed by a CA lawmaker?

I just heard about it today on The View. It was one of their hot topics (Joy was all for it, Barbara and Elizabeth weren't) and I was curious to see what other DISers had to say about it.

I am sure there was already a thread, but can't find it. Anyone know if there was one? And have a link?

Thanks. It's hard now with the funky search to find what I am looking for and I'm not here on the CB every day so I miss alot.
