We ate at the new restaurant and were satisfied, the meat appetizer was fabulous! Then we used BW Bakery for lunches, I loved the Lobster Roll, DH enjoyed Turkey sandwich and the Meatball Sandwich. We used the Screen Door for some snacks, wine one night, milk, little necessities. I had brought cereal.

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. We had a HA studio, which I needed pending bilateral knee replacement this upcoming week. Room was very large, very clean....there was a snack wrapper on the balcony, from previous occupant, or blown in from elsewhere, not a problem to throw it away.

Staff was very friendly. I'm a big fan of the BWV...I love the depth of the Luna Pool, it was just right as I did my water exercises.

It is never a happy day when we leave WDW. Our next stay is before the DVC Member Cruise. I have not booked a HA room, I am optimistic! Well, we will have a walk in shower, we are in Poly studios, otherwise I would have reserved one, I do not know if/when I can handle a tub.

The new restaurant, was it Trattoria al Forno? Other than the meat appetizer what was your review of the restaurant?

Thanks

Good luck with the knee surgery, Bobbi! I have never heard of anyone doing both knees at once. Hope you are up and at 'em in no time.

Yes, that's the one. We traveled that day, and we wereable to get a table around 6 without a reservation. We did not have a meal, shared the appetizer and a mozzarella, basil pizza. I liked the crust a lot, but we both wanted a stronger cheese flavor, what it had was how it was described. We definitely are going again, the eggplant dish sounds like something we both will enjoy, and I want to try the lamb shank one time as well. We were not looking for a big meal on Tuesday. Our server was very friendly.

Thank you, Jean! I have not personally met anyone who has had both done at once, but many of friends know someone who has!

Both in Ohio, and now in NJ, the doctors I have been to have come to the same conclusion, I do not have a good knee, they both need to be done at once. I feel as if I am in good hands.

We will have dinner at TAF in just a couple of weeks- the breakfast was amazing when we had it pre-opening in Flying Fish. That polenta sausage egg dish specifically was so stupendous we feel we need to return to see what they can do at dinner. :yay:

Sorry about your knees Bobbi- hope all is well soon!

I had both knees replaced a month apart (staged bilateral) almost 3 years ago. The best thing I ever did... not the easiest LOL... but the best. My surgeon like yours said there was no point in doing just one since both were shot.

I feel like I have my life back in so many ways. You will, too
Best wishes and hang tough!
