Was going to go on a Cruise.....

I wanted to do something different this year. So I have spent the last few weeks checking out cruises. Some were to expensive, others didn't have heated pools. So after all of that, we are probably going back to the fort. It just suits our needs for a great family vacation. There is always stuff to do that is fun for all of us. And the pool is heated!!!! Anyone else run into the same thing. Nothing compares to the fort.

A cruise is okay,, but man does it take a lotta xtra line to troll from a ship.

That is one of the problems too. I have to put fishing in everyone one of our vacations for DH.

We had planned to add a 4 day disney cruise onto our fort trip for next year. But after going over the figures it just doesn't make much sense financially for us. We can take a 7 night cruise out of Philly for less than 1/2 the cost of a 4 night disney cruise - of course it's not disney, but in this economy you have to make choices. Just doesn't make sense for us right now. So next year it's back to fort for 2 weeks - can't wait!

We went to the Fort in November..had such a great time that we scratched the cruise ideas and made ressies to go back to the Fort this November..can't wait!

So I am not alone!!! We stay at the cabins. I will get a 40% off room only and will use our military tickets. It was cheaper then a cruise. And I knew that we would have fun. This year we will stay 6 nights and only go to the park 4 days. We will leave 2 days for other stuff.
