I am wondering how this works on points when the EB Repo sold out the first day. Was MS able to help anyone with a Repo booking last week?

We thought about points, but it was crazy and the prices kept increasing and the rooms booked so fast, I didnt have time to learn about it, so we booked on cash.

Just wondering for future reference:wizard:

Yes, I booked with MS right at 8 am the first day for the EB repo. Got a reservationa nd stateroom # and am still waiting for the call for the point requirement.

I tried to book on the 31st. MS took all my info and then tld me that there were computer problems and I would need to call back. I went online and booked a cash ressie. I really hope that I am not one of those double booked.

what the heck is a eb repo? :headache::teacher::confused3:confused:
The Magic is going to California in May 08 traveling through the Panama Canal. It is the repositiong cruise. There is one in May to california and in August back to PC.

You booked without knowing how many points. :scared1: You like to "live dangerously":lmao:

We did the WB. Only took about 30 minutes to book two cat 9's online.

Sorry for bringing cruise board language over without definition:goodvibes

Im afraid of what the points will look like, but the Eastbound Repositioning Cruise may be our only vacation next year so our points would go to good use. (Ok who am I kidding! The cruise and NYE @ SSR:rotfl: )

So pennyguy, did you book on points and did they tell you how many?

Thanks Paula for sharing. It was truly crazy!! I was double booked for a day. DCL would not let me apply my credit and discount to the reservation I made online. I booked over the phone with DCL to get the credit and discount and then I cancelled the other.

We still have a Cat 10 Gty but I am scared to see what the prices will be if they open the cruise back up.

I wonder if MS can do any better?

We paid Cash, I don't think it will be only 400 points. So I figured we would pay cash would be the best for us and keep out points and get a 1br instead of a stuido on our disney trips in 2008. We usually go New years for a week and 12nights in May and one more trip later in the year. This way we more than enough points and it will make us get a 1 br. Let us know how many points it takes

Booked the Med Cruise next summer on points, so won't have enough to do the 2008 repositioning...

We have a 10 GTY also. It was hectic that day, but by 10am I knew I had a room and I honestly think that since I haven't heard from MS that they didn't book me. But I did give them all my info. I was really pretty happy with the pricing. On the WB on Cat 10 that pricing is almost $900 more than I paid. I also transfered the ressie to DU for a $200 stateroom credit.

You should join the thread on the cruise meets section. They are a very lively bunch, we are already almost 900 pages. It it kinda hard to keep up with, but Lisa does a great job summarizing the posts.
