Warning On Parking Fees - If not booked on points you WILL be charged $37 per day. DVC Member or not.

Being DVC Members we had thought we would not be charged Parking Fees when staying at Aluani, even though not staying on points, the same as it has been at WDW resorts. I even called Alluani and asked them and was told that no, we would not be charged a Parking Fee as we were DVC members. I however read this wonderful piece of news today on the Aluani website:
"Disney Vacation Club Members will be charged for standard overnight parking when staying on a reservation booked through a travel agent, the Disney Reservation Center or disneyaulani.com."

Good to know. We are using points for our upcoming trip so we are fine. That would have been over $400 extra in fees that we were not counting on.

Correct. If you are not a member and rent points - no parking fees. If you are a member and staying on cash - you are charged parking fees.
