Warm enough to swim in Oct?

Do you think it will be warm enough to swim in October? We are going Oct 15-21 and I am debating wether or not to add the water parks to my tickets. I know the water is heated but its the getting out part that I am worried about. Plus standing in line for the slides, you can get pretty cold.

Average daily highs for mid-October are in the mid 80s, so I'd say you'll be pretty comfortable!

Yeah, I live in Tampa and it should still be in the low-mid 80's in mid-October. Orlando won't be much different. If anything, it will be more humid.

I've swum on Halloween at Disney, and I don't do it unless it's VERY comfortable!

Yes I think that you will be fine swimming in October. Gosh I think I have heard of people swimming all year around.

We have been the last 2 Octobers and it is still very warm. We swam on both trips and the water parks were busy.

We swim every year during our Dec visit so I don't see Oct being an issue. It just depends on how motivated you are.

Also depends on what resort. Some heated pools are warmer than other heated pools. We found the Poly pool to be the warmest in Dec.

Also at WL, the WLV pool was warmer than the WL pool. Go figure.

Definately worm enough to swim. Sometimes it is down right hot!!

We have either gone to Disney in Oct or Nov and its always been warm enough to swim, and warm enough to enjoy the water parks

Great news! I have one day planned to go to Typhoon Lagoon in October so this is music to my ears!

It was warm enough to swim in December of 2004.

October is definately warm enough for swimming & water parks. And I don't even think of swimming/WP unless it is mid 80's. I have swam each of my 3 Oct. trips. One of those included daily trips to Blizzard Beach as the temps were in the 90's for that trip in early Oct.
