Wanting To Become A Cast Member

I suppose the title says it all. I wouldn't say I'm new to DISboards, as I've been reading peoples trip reports for years and just have never registered as a member till today.

Anyways, DISboards seems like a good place to maybe get a little advice on working at Disney. I've already applied but it seems like it's taking HR forever to look over my application. Just wondering if theres a way to speed up the process or even just share their experience in trying to become a cast member. Anything would help.

When I retire, I want to be a Jungle Cruise skipper. I will follow your thread so I will know what to do when that day comes...

Ah Jungle Cruise Skipper is the most important part of that ride! Very cool! I'm hoping to work at the resort checking people in. Everyone knows the magic begins as soon as you hit the gate but you don't really feel like home till you're at your resort.
