lol ok... now is that near the entrance to the jungle cruise or the swiss family treehouse?

btw... thanks :teeth: i will save your map and print it in december.

It's just over the bridge from main street to adventureland, on the right as you enter adventure land! :)

Wifey just booked seven days at POFQ for Jan 1 through 7. :thumbsup2 I guess she felt guilty that I didn't get a real Dole whip. I'm getting a second chance...

:cool1:

So thanks for all the marriage proposals (and the pics ;) ) but it looks like I'll be keeping her around for another season.

Oh GREAT. Now I'm going to be like a mad scientist in my kitchen trying to
make one of these things on my own since I'm not going until December. I've
been going to WDW since the 70's and have NEVER had one of these. Now I
have something ELSE to obsess over. Sheesh.....give me strength.... :stir:

As tasty as Dole whips sound... I think your living the sweet life if you can already plan another trip to disney. I am now restricted to visiting disney with my wife once every 5 years! :sad2: No bueno!

Just kidding my wife is perfect! She does a lot of sweet stuff for me:

spends a total of 5 hours at the park on a 6 day VC
Says "the kids do not want to go to the petting farm"
Uses up a day on pass just to go have dinner at world showcase then leave!
won't help me join DVC :rotfl:

looks like I need to fill out some paper work and post an ad too

I need a wife that can get up at 730am to bust the gates with me at the magic kingdom. :woohoo:

All in fun

I feel fortunate. My wife took me, almost by the hand, to get a Dole Whip. She passed, because she doesn't like pineapple.

So I had the float, and guess what? It was vanilla soft serve ice cream in pineapple juice. I've had better of both.

And I wasn't overly impressed by turkey legs or zebra domes, either. On the other hand, I loved Le Cellier's cheese soup and pretzel breadsticks.

With so many tastebuds, that's why choices were created.

Okay, here's my question if these Dole Whips are so good... then in actuality how bad are they for you. I'm on Weight Watchers to get fit for this trip and I'd hate to blow the whole thing on one amazing treat?!

Please send your Disney likes/dislikes and photos (with Dole whip, if possible) to me at fish_almighty at yahoo.com.

Here's my rant.

Just got back from 7 days at WDW. My wife has been talking up the Dole whips ever since she found out about them on this board months ago. I've been counting the days till I could use my snack credits to devour these things.

We visited the Magic Kingdom on four separate occasions. I ended up with a grand total of NO Dole whips. Excuses included "It's too far" to "I really don't want one right now." And on our final day after my constant griping, she says, "OK, OK, OK. I'll go get you a &*$&$!* Dole whip." So she goes and gets one. And it is not a regular Dole whip, but some Dole whip concoction with extra pineapple juice.

:headache:

Anyone know where I can download divorce papers online?

You know what they say - "If you want something done right the first time, you just have to do it yourself!" :lmao:

The better the food item tastes, the worse it is for you. I think it's some sort of dieting law. :) Do they sell pineapple spears there? Those are the taste treats of my youth at DL, way before those newfangled whips came along.

It's only sold in frontierland (I think) and it's a soft serve pineapple smooth as silk ice cream!!!!! The "float" is that ice cream plus pineapple juice. I prefer just the ice cream. YOU have to try one next trip!!!!(I mean everyone)

We got the float and it is was way tooooooo sweet. Next time we'll just get the whip.

I think someone said it's frozen yogurt... so find the points for that. I don't think it would be any more calories than any other. Oh soo goood!

Just so you all know... YOU CAN NOT GET A DOLE WHIP DURING MVMCP!
I finally get to Adventure Ise and nope, no Dole Whip... not even giving out cocoa and cookies... just flat closed!
Well, in all fairness it was freezing... like 50 degrees and I would have frozen to death eating it... but man, I had looked forward to it for months! Maybe if the temp were warmer it might have been open, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Well I guess we are destined never to marry.........

DOLE WHIPS ARE NASTY!

Thinking I can get a Dole Whip..while DH gets his turkey leg.....the kids are on their own for snacks !! not really...just making a list of snacks I HAVE to try while Im there next time. :cool1:

I have got to try one of those Dole Whips while I'm there next week!!

I've also got to get one of those Lapu-Lapu's I've heard others rave about.

You don't want me, I'm just going thru a divorce that's very very bad. I'm not very fond of the male persuasion right now.

I seem to always be in Magic Kingdom when it is cold outside, so everytime I pass that Dole Whip cart, I say, "next time!"

The poor Dole Whip guy was SO lonely during the Christmas party last year when we went. It had to 45 degrees with the windchill factored in, and NOBODY was wanting one.

Am i the only guy who bought one on the strength of the comments on here, and thought, humph, is that it?
refreshing, yes, to die for?? emmmm, nope, sorry folks! :sad2:
