Dont mind paying a bit extra but there seems to be a huge gap between economy and business prices (like 3x!).

So premium economy is an option. Anyone got any recommendations? I quite like the look of Deltas Comfort Plus.

BTW. You can only book this by going into My Trips on Delta web site. Do you still get this if you book a delta flight via expedia?

I can't really help on your main question but I booked through a travel agent and got the Delta booking reference, then signed into my trips and it offered me Economy Comfort so I guess you could :)

I was tempted by it but I decided I'd rather spend my money on more clothes in Florida :goodvibes

Aer Lingus have had some pretty good prices. Depends on where you are flying from.

Although it's more than a "bit extra" than economy, for slightly more than Virgin's PE price we are flying Aer Lingus business class.

BA Executive Club has a special offer at present including Premium Economy seats. Basically, u only need half the BA airmiles than normal .... Limited time to book but can travel way into next year .... details on their website offers page.

Obviously only any use if you have BA miles .... although tesco vouchers can be converted to them at a pretty good rate.

Thanks all. Booked Economy Comfort with Delta now.

Not bad - extra legroom, more recline, free beer, priority boarding for £50 per person per flight.
