I've seen several posts lately asking how to identify yourself as a DISer in the parks - whether that it is during the Mega Meet or during your regular vacation. Below is the lime green Mickey head that has been used for years. Simply print it and clip it on a lanyard, bag, purse, etc. Some prefer to laminate it and include their screen name. It is a fun way to meet online friends while on Disney grounds.

Ooooo cool, definitely will need to print one for my next trip, as would love to meet and say hi to other DISer...:thumbsup2

Actually hoping to see one of the DIS Team, although hopefully from afar as something when I get too excited I have difficulties control the volume of my voice or the total gibberish that comes out of it lol :hyper:

I didn't notice any lime green out at DL this past weekend. I'll probably be back in the park tomorrow night, then DCA on Friday. Trying to work around my schedule.
Have fun (and be a little productive, too!) :)

Oh believe me ..they're wearing me out! I'm going to need a vacation when I get back. I've been getting into work at 5AM every morning ...ugggh! But had a real fun day on Saturday so things are good. Thank you!

I was at Flag Retreat Saturday & was wearing my DIS Unplugged button. :flower: I'm glad you're having fun out here.

I ....was at Flag Retreat Saturday!!!! How did I miss you? Ernie did a fabulous job! I was near the conductor.
Dang it! I am usually down below, but this time (first time) I was up at the train station platform so I could Periscope from an overview vantage point. A couple came and sat next to me, and we were chatting. Found out that the lady brought her boyfriend to be recognized (I THINK Navy). I encouraged them to go down so he could go up to the flag pole. He said he felt silly, but I saw him go up there (and tried to zoom in on him just a bit). Ernie did a fantastic job. :)

Quite a moving ceremony -highly recommended(should be required) for any guest. It was something that had been on my to do list for many years ...being alone, I finally had the chance to make time.

I hear ya., GAN. I felt totally bad when I realized I had never made time to do the one @ WDW (hadn't realized there was one for MANY years, then heard about it, but still never did it). Finally did, and was amazed at what a nice, solemn, respectful ceremony it was, and it happens every day, and yet I never "made time" for it. And I even got more emotional than I expected to, but I figure that's okay. :)

I actually have a Mickey with a peace sign pin, lime green... the only pin i still wear to park... although in 5 trips I have only had 2 people ask me if I was on Disboards
