I can tell you how, as I've made them for years. You know the ones you soak in water and they swell up and become a gel? Well they are EXTREMELY cheap to make and below is what they are filled with (water crystals, ask for the plain ones). You can get them at any garden shop. I can just see it now tons of matching disney themed bandanas.

They can also be used for dog beds to help keep poochie cooler!

FYI: depending on the size the bandanas take about 3 heaping tablespoons.

You know you could probably make one as a cooling pad for a childs stroller too. The way I did it was cut 2 rectangles, sew around 3 sides then stitch two lines running the long way so you have 3 long pockets. Place a tablespoon down each pocket then sew across the short side about 3" inches from the bottom and repeat all the way up. You'll have what looks like a patchwork quilt stitch pattern.Hope that makes sense.

What a great idea!!! Now I just need to find some bandanas or just get some Disney fabric. LOL I would also post this on the Creative Disign board too if you haven't already. :thumbsup2
