Hello! I finally did my first event last weekend, pasta sauce. It went so smooth! Makes me nervous for what is to come. Tomorrow I do the spiderman event at Walmart. Hope it is just as nice And I have 7 other events booked after that!
I read most of this thread (what my 1year old and 3 year old gave me time for) and I must THANK EVERYONE FOR THE GREAT TIPS AND ADVISE!!!!

Today's yogurt and fiber one bars was very slow. I guess everyone was out in the nice weather. I nearly sold out of the fiber bars that were in the aisle where I was. Of course on my out I saw an end cap by checkout with more. Who sets up this stuff?

I get to try my 4-in-1 bottle / can opener thingy tomorrow on Diet Coke Plus. Hopefully, no more "can finger" after these events. And just in case I end up with bottles, a rubber gripper thingy since I seem to be losing my arm strength. lol And of course, a cooler since, its Target & I never know just WHERE I'll get to set-up.

Have fun everyone. From that Diet Coke Plus thread I posted above, it sounds like it should be a hit with people who already like Diet Coke.

Diet Coke Plus.

In case they don't have the 12 packs, I've figured out how many 2 liters & how many 20 ounce bottles you would need instead.

6 12packs = about 12 or 13 2liter bottles = 43 20oz bottles

Obviously, you can only buy what your money allows. But now I won't have to do the calculations in the store. Its happened before.

Now....will it be chilled?

I think I’m as prepared as can be for Diet Coke Plus today. Called the store yesterday to have the product chilled. They told me they had the 12pks so I shouldn’t have to worry about that. I’ve packed an extra table, napkins, cups and can opener. The Target I’m going to has a Food court in a great spot where I can catch everybody and they never seem to mind my using their cooler unlike the other Target I go to. Just hope they have enough product for those wanting to use the coupon.

My Fiber One & yogurt event was similar to HERSEY. First nice weekend we’ve had here in a while and traffic in the dairy section was slow. Bought 9 yogurt and only sampled 4. Started with 21 boxes of Fiber One to sell and sold them all. Checked to see if there was anymore in the back and after they scanned my boxes, they said there were lots. After a half hour of looking, they determined they were on the truck to be unloaded last night. Had to tell interested consumers to check back today. Apparently this is a very popular product on the Weight Watchers message boards.

Opened my event box last night for the Hungry Jack potatoes and the microwave safe bowl they sent me won’t work in my microwave - too long. I’m don’t want to use one of my glass ones or my Tupperware so I guess I’ll look for a different shape this week.

I went by my St last night I found my Diet Coke Plus on a end cap, but the LOD I talked to last night said they couldn't prechill it. Hopefully the other LOD is on the ball and she has it chilled. Either case I think I'll be there early to make sure it's chilled I hate telling people come back in 20 minutes. That makes me look like I don't know what I'm doing.

I tried the Diet Coke I really like it. It is a little sweeter than regular Diet Coke but other than that yummo. It reminds me of regular Sugared Coke.

Been a few weeks holding my breath on SPI, however the information required to log in and book finally showed up yesterday!!!

now to back up about 1/3 of the way and read what I've missed!

So annoyed! Sick here, supposed to do Diet Coke event, and cannot due to vomiting and babysitter issues resulting from vomiting (my diabetic sister does not want the flu, imagine that). They acted like I am a criminal and even suggested I might lose my job over it. This is my second call off in 10 months. Really annoying, not like I do it all the time.

Thanks for mentioning that. I've got 3 different event kits here & I hadn't opened that one yet since its the last one in the line up. I'll need to check that out.

Hope you feel better. Was that SPI or TMT that gave you a hard time? That sucks when you are sick.

(So maybe the "3 cancel rule" applies to just cancelling on the day of the event....not ahead of time. Because I've surely cancelled more than 3...but way ahead. Shortest was 2 days ahead when I was sick for days & not getting better.)

That Diet Coke Plus thread on the Community Board is saying the soda goes flat really fast - like 1/2 way thru drinking a small bottle. Guess I won't be opening cans or pouring much in advance.

VT but my stores are all in NH, I'm on the border...

Should I expect my box with apron/table etc.. soon? Since my events aren't till May I'm not sure if I should check the front hallway where my UPS dude (my brother lol) leaves my packages?

Back from Diet Coke Plus. I'M BEAT!!! WOW was I busy. Not as in alot of traffic, but as in ALOT of samples & ALOT of sales!! Beautiful 75 degree weather today....and I still sold 79 twelve packs. I had to restock the end cap myself twice with 20 oz bottles & 12 pks. No clue on how many bottles I gave away since I didn't keep track...but it was ALOT..and I only had a few coupons left.

Great job selling 79! I sold about 30 of the 70 that were avail. I sampled 4 of the 6 cases. I am beat too. What did you do with the empties? I took them with me & tried to get the deposits. The store I brought them to doesn't sell Diet Coke Plus so I just left them there. I know someone will take them & get the $.

I'm back. I love this St, They did chill the soda and where all ready for me. The store wasn't too crowded we had low 80's today. I sold at least 40 cases and bottles. Not to bad. But I beat.
