Also for you veterans, I received my "new hire package" Saturday and on the back of the protective sleeve that holds the MC card, it states to put your background check Certification here. I didn't receive any background certification. Do you guys have this and if so, did you get it separate from your "new hire package"? Thanks

Never recvd a background check sticker nor has my DH, we both have been working since July.. not sure if it's required in MN??? I'm thru TMT if that helps.

I know when I got my new hire stuff that the debit card came in a seperate envie.

Anyone do the Oregon Chai Tea Latte today?
My demo captian was told it was served cold per her instructions from MC, my instructions said serve warm.
I offered it to guests as a choice of warm or cold... few wanted it cold (only because they didn't want to wait).
I was very popular and had little crowds waiting for samples. Ran out of milk before I ran out of concentrate and handed out all but 24 packets. I was happily giving two packets per person in the last 15 minutes.
Sold out and made a nice dent in the other flavors of concentrate/mix packets.
It was yummy! Might buy packets myself to bring to DL.

Spi called me today at 11:45 and asked if I could go to supertarget and demo the Kraft cheesecake filling - again, he'd give me the ebooking, so why not!

I got there at 1pm, and decided to work 5 hours - ran out of product after 4 hours! (what do you do when you run out of product early? DO you only get paid for the time you are on the job?)

It was good - $3.94 for a tub, that fills a 9" grahm cracker crust - now per my MC instructions I bought 4 tubs of product, and 5 boxes of Grahm Cracker sticks - and I was to swipe in and out w/ 75cents - for $29 - the product came to $28.76!! I used cash, but I was surprised I didnt have enough on the debit card - does this happen often?

ETA - - I just reread the instructions (It was my first food demo - I've only done the ProPlan doggie coupons!) I guess I was only supposed to purchase a $.75 or less swipe OUT... oops, good thing I did do cash for the one!!

At least with many Super Targets, they are just fine to have you demo something else. I didn't think I'd have enough salmon yesterday (they did find more), but I'd have told the lead that I wanted to pull something off the shelf. Before the lead, I'd have mentioned it to the manager. I only have worked one store, so I'd really not need to ask per se (they know me well enough to know what I'm doing is okay).

I heard that Jan will be very busy. I wish we had a Super Target in my area. Is there a certian time when they post the events? I have seen other demo people in the stores but never saw the event listed on the website. I work thru SPi if that helps.

I'm w/ SPi also. I have only seen ST posted once here and we have a couple!
It's always WM's around here! Which I guess is fine since there are lot more of those to choose from.

Ok, Funny Story here.... You know how I have been complaining about not getting my check....
Well............... My dh gets his check direct deposit........... And I found out today that his check stub in his envelope, Looks Just like SPI's pay check... The same Capital letters for address, the same, the same post marks, everything, except the company... So, when I get my husbands pay check stub I just toss it aside because I don;'t even look at it, So today I get one and I look at it, because I was like, Why is he getting another one, He just got one Friday..... Well it had my name on it.. I open it and find out this is my second pay check, So I have to go back and search all the piles of bills and junk mail to find my other one.... I found it........... Wow.... About lost a whole pay check........... Thanks for listening to me!!!!

Wow, Daniel must be desperate for people to do wine events here in MA. He's sent 3 emails in the past week asking people to work them. And todays email says they will even pay gas if you do those on 12/1 & 12/2....and even suggests borrowing someones laptop so you can make an extra $40.

Mentions $100 to $140 for 4 hrs.

I guess all those ads in Craigslist (gigs - events) didn't pan out too well for them.

I'm too lazy to go sign into ebooking to get you the link....but sign into ebooking, then go to the tab where your name & address are listed (my profile? my portfolio? whatever).....there is a link with directions. Print it out & follow it.
You will set up your account at ADP with username & password. Oh...and where it says just last 4 of SS#....I think you really have to enter the whole SS# or it sends you back to enter entire stub info again.

FYI on the wine events at Target - make sure the local ordinances allow it - for instance the ST I worked on Sunday was listed to do a wine sampling (the menog. trois) but I knew that town has an ordinance, so I declined it, and then was offered the phily cheesecake - when I got to ST I asked the manager - he confirmed it wasnt allowed, and stated that they sent someone earlier to do the event -

I'm doing 2 wine events at the end of Dec, but they are at wine stores... I would love to get 140 for them!! And I wonder if its all wine events, or just the Sterling, Vintage wines? curious...

So, I'm demo'ing a coffee machine for a different company than Mass Connections this week and next week. It's like a Tassimo, but a cheaper version. Anyway, the kit comes with two coffee makers, and I get to keep both of them. I was so excited. It would be nice if we could keep the Mass Connections stuff.

MC's been so slow. I have like four things scheduled for December. That's it. I'm glad this other lady is hooking me up with the other company, but I have to wear a hairnet. I'm not sure that my ego can handle that. A hat's one thing, but a hairnet is so uncool.
