Want to clarify

Has anyone had any trouble using meal credits after they check out...
We check out of our hotel on Wednesday, and have a dinner at 1900 park fare planned at 5pm...will we any trouble using our last credits.

We had no problem using our credits after check out last year. Like the above poster noted, they are good up until midnight of day you check out.

We checked out on Friday 7/7 and we had 7 TS meals and 7 snack credits left

We had our breakfast at Akershus and when DH got the receipt at the bottom it said to call the resort so he called and they said they just wanted to let him know that he was out of credits on the DDP--When he got back to the table and told me I was like "UUHH NO--We still have snack credits left" and he said "Well I'm just telling you what they told me" So I broke out my book and went over everything and sure enough we still had the 7 snack credits ((there were 7 of us)) But he said he wasn't going to worry about it since we would be "leaving WDW in a couple of hours and it wasn't a big a big deal---Now if they said it was CS or TS he'd argue but not over snacks"

So I guess while we were shorted it wasn't that big of a deal because it was just snacks---So we figured the next trip we will use up all our snack credits before the last day so we don't lose out on them

The credits are valid until midnight after checkout. There have been a few reports about mixups with credits, both before and after checkout, but every one I've read was easily resolved with a simple call back to the resort.

Upon checkout, the CM suggested that I use up what is left on my card as I still had some CS and snack credits! She explained they were good till midnight. So I went to our resorts CS and got lunches to go and snacks too for the ride home. Splendid for me, so glad I got filled up so much on the meals. DS was over the moon when I presented him on the ride home some more Disney snacks!

We used both CS and snack credits after check out and had no problem except for while getting Dole whips in MK. The CM told me the card was refused. He ran 3 separate cards and said each one was refused. I persisted and told him that I'd just (and I mean just) used the cards to get snacks at an ice cream cart down the way (the kids wanted Mickey ice cream sandwiches), so then the CM said, "Let me try it a different way" and it magically worked.

I'm not sure if the problem was due to our checking out already, to MK's system (because I'd had trouble at other MK food places, too), or this CM's error, but it finally did work...after my Dole float was half melted in the meantime.

I was told the same thing by two different cast members. I hope it stands true.
