Want to add on, but have questions...

Ok...so DH casually said "how much would it be to add on to DVC?" And I said WHAT?? Give me 5min and I can get you all the info!!

So, we are looking to add on maybe like 25-50 points? What would you suggest? We currently own at Vero Beach, but would like to add on somewhere on property. Should we go through Disney? How much would it cost (this is the big question!! )

Any sage advice would be greatfully appreciated!! Thanks!

We've done our add-ons through Disney. We've been on wait lists for small add-on contracts at the resale places, but nothing came through for us at BWV before the points were available for our UY through Disney.

Sorry, I don't know the current rate. I'm sure someone else can provide that.

Trying to get small contracts via resale is never easy and once you find one...Disney throws ROFR at you and your efforts go for naght !!!

Stick with Disney but I would not wait too long...I hear the price is going up AND DVC may start charging for closing costss.

Kelly, have you called your guide, yet? You can get the latest info. and find out what the chances are of getting an add-on where you want it for you UY. I forgot to mention in my other post that we were pleased to find out that we were able to get points from Dec. 2004 (we bought in Oct. 2005) and hardly paid any fees for those. They let us bank the whole add-on even though our banking dates had passed. We then got our 2005 points soon after that, so we have a nice chunk of extra points for this year's trip. That was a nice bonus.
