Want to add a day in March…forcing me to call??

I logged into the Disney site today to see if I could just add a day to our reservations. It’s telling me I have to call. I was really hoping I could just do this online. What has the wait times been typically like to call and modify stay dates?

Could I just make a second reservation, modified with the new dates, then click the cancel button on the old reservation? I really don’t want to deal with waiting on the phone.

As long as there's availability, this is what I'd do.

That happened to me. Needed to add a night and kept getting an error saying I needed to call. I called. They told me to keep checking the website. I am still checking and so far have been unable to book (going over the holidays so possible it may just be fully booked and I am SOL). I asked if I could add a note to the room so that someone could add the night if it is available when they go to assign my room and they said no, they don't do notes for adding or subtracting nights.
