There is this amazing jewelry designer, Madame Fortuna, who makes the most gorgeous necklaces using bits and pieces of vintage jewelry and other magical findings.
I had her make one of her "Magical Charm" necklaces celebrating our Indiana Jones themed/Adventurer's Club wedding reception.
And i LOVE my "X Marks The Spot" necklace!!!!
She also has a signature "Relic" line. It's a glass globe with something special inside it. Could be a lock of your fiancee's hair. Some dirt from Disney World, a peacock feather, anything!
And she has a new line of vintage lockets called "Storyville" (but these are rather more expensive)
Madame Fortuna is incredibly talented, unbelivable nice and very affordable!!! So I wanted to share her with my fellow Disney brides
I wish I had found her BEFORE my wedding! I definitely would have had her create a bridal necklace for me. And for my bridal party.
you can see SOME of her work at: etsy.com
(or http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5242018)
But make sure you CLICK THROUGH HER "ITEMS SOLD" (http://www.etsy.com/shop_sold.php?user_id=5242018) because there are like 300 necklaces/bracelets sold that you can look through. But only 40 currently for sale I think. Although she puts things up often -- and best of all, she does custom work.
Here's a picture of my necklace (and me and the hubby too) -- along with pics of some of her other creations. All one-of-a-kind (which I love!)
enjoy...
