Wanna have a Mini-DIS Meet Balloon Ride Friday May 8th?

I'm excited about the new balloon ride at DTD. I'm planning on doing it Friday May 8th in the morning and I thought it might be fun to do a mini DIS Meet Balloon ride! Seems alot of DIS'ers are going early May, plus some Podcast Cruisers might be in town for it. We could fill the balloon basket with DIS'ers!!!!

Anybody interested?

I'd love to do this with you Lisa, but sadly our flight does not get in until 5:00PM. Not only that, but we'll be picking up our Muddy Buddy gear after we arrive. Have a great time!

We definately can't make EOS for lunch on the 9th but we can possibly make it to DTD for drinks and Balloonery.

I didn't know about the Earl of Sandwhich meet before I suggested the Balloon Full of DIS'ers. I seriously was checking to see if I could switch and get out a flight out on Saturday instead of Friday. Would have to check about staying an extra night at the hotel too, but I think it would be so fun! Who all is doing Earl of Sandwhich?

Oh, no....I was kidding Tonya, it would be way more convienant...I didn't mean to mess anything up. I'm not cruising so I haven't been keeping up with the planned stuff for that. You guys should do it on the 9th. It seems alot more people will be be in town by then and you'll be over there anyway. Hang a DIS sign over the basket and have someone get a picture!

Not so sure we are up for balloon rides, but we would meet our imagianary (I mean Dis) friends if it happens. We leave early on the 9th for MCO so EoS is out for us.

C'mon we can fill a balloon!!!!!

FYI... The Characters In Flight balloon capacity is dependent on wind speed. The max number of people it can hold only applies when winds are less than 3 MPH and the number of passengers is decreased as the wind speed increases. Once winds reach 22 MPH, the balloon doesn't fly.

Just thought you might want to know in case it's windy on they day the meet happens.
