Wand Differences

How are the wands that you purchase in WWOHP any different than the wands that are purchased off the WB website?

I sort-of thought they would be the same??

Many different designs and the best part...THE BOX! While that may sound stupid, for me, a Potter nerd and collector, it was the box I wanted. No where else can you get a wand in an Ollivander's box, complete with dust.

The Nobel wands on the WB site are all character wands, meaning the wand design used in the films, whereas the ones at WWoHP are what some have started calling "birthday wands", meaning the wands can be selected to match the wizard based on birthdate. There are many different types and styles.

I can't remember where I saw the break down but I got a wand for my birthday. I got it bagals and dervise(sp?) They have a two rooms with wands. There are students who can help you get the right wand for you. The kiosk that is outside the ride are just character wands.
I can't see standing in line just to buy a wand at Olivanders. The show is not really all that. If you saw the first movie, and I know you did. You saw the show. Mine is vine it is nice piece. They aged it a little you know petina.
I agree with everyone that the shops were way to small. I went into the candy shop and went by the counter and there was Zonkos Joke shop. The whole shop was about 6ft by 8ft in size I didn't relize how small it was until I walked out the front door of the shop. I will give you a reference it is half the size of the Christmas Shop across from the hall of presidents in disneyworld.
Butterbeer tasted like a Rootbeer Float. It was ok no biggy.
