Hi we are going to DLRP June 14 and want to go to Walts and get a window seat to see the parade, our problem is we go Sat-Weds, I have phoned to reserve and it is not open Mon/Tues, we are booked for brunch at the Steak House Sunday so that just leaves Saturday and we do not arrive until 5pm.

I know the parade times aren't out yet but looking at them for May we will be too late for the main parade so my questions are

1. Can you see Candlebration from Walts?
2. If so should I wait until the schedules are out to book or am I risking it, there are 6 of us, I was thinking of guessing at booking a table for 7.45pm

Any help would be gratefully received.

Many thanks

Jem

You can not see Candlebration from Walts. We had a window seat last month at 7pm and Candlebration was on at 8pm. We could hear the music but could not see anything.

Thank you for letting me know.

Oh, I'm gutted, I really want to eat at Walt's and I thought if we could see a parade or something it will keep the kids occupied so that we could enjoy the yummy meal. Is Walts suitable for children 3,5 & 6, bearing in mind it will be our first stop as we will have not long got off the train.

What a shame. :sad2:

My children are older but lots of DISers have taken young children to Walt's. I saw the CMs there give out colouring sheets and crayons.

I think we are still going to go for Walts, we have half board plus vouchers and are booked at Cafe Mickey, character brunch at the Steakhouse and doing Annettes on the last night so they kids are getting a lot of fun meals anyway. This is my choice, I was just a bit concerned about over excited kids but then I suppose at Disney there are also a lot of over excited adults as well.

:lmao: :lmao:

You have some great meals planned and I'm sure your children will enjoy themselves there, especially since it is your first meal of the trip.

Enjoy!! :wizard:

Oh no....I didn't realise Walt's was closed on Mon & Tues! I was hoping to eat there on my Birthday, Mon 16th June! :sad2:

Thanks for the replys everyone, I can't wait now only 4 weeks to go. Pinky166 is nice to see someone else going at the same time we can compare visits when we return, what fun going on your birthday.

We ate there last Monday so it is obviously open some Mondays. I believe it was a public holiday in France and it was closed on Tuesday but you might be lucky!;)

It was closed on Wednesdays when we went the week before Easter so they must vary the day.

What time are you leaving on the last day? We enjoyed lunch there just before we left last time

When we went 5 weeks ago I was origionally told it was closed on Monday and Tuesday so I made a reservation for Wednesday (was given a confirmation number). Then a week before we arrived someone posted here that they were eating there on the Monday and they had been told it was closed Wednesday, the day I had a confirmation number for. So I phoned up, it was closed on the Wesnesday and my confirmation number was not in the system. Luckily I was able to rebook for the Monday at the time I wanted. So I guess the moral is that they change the day that they are closed. I would phone before I go, I plan to do this before my next trip (maybe like each week after I have made my reservations just to be sure!! lol!!)
