There were definitely a ton of conference people at Yacht Club too, I didn't look which conference but I stopped by the YC gift shop and when I left, the lobby was full of people wearing lanyards. They were giving some strange looks to everyone dressed in Disney garb

@jmasgat Let us know if the Westin offer now credits! Over on the discount DGC board several of us have reported trying and failing to get the Westin Chase Offer to correctly code with a Swan stay ... but it WAS triggering Autograph offers (supposed to be for Swan Reserve) as of spring and early summer. A back end glitch somewhere.

Well if it was the Garner Group, October 20–23 they have room blocks at all the Epcot Crescent lake resorts. If not the Y/C is a Convention hotel so there is that.

Yes. And if it's a refundable rate, you can rebook if a better rate comes along. Be sure to check every few weeks.

For future reference: Boardwalk and Yacht & Beach Club had trick-or-treating last night. Swan/Dolphin did not.

Two years ago, Swan/Dolphin did. I wasn't here last year, so I don't know when they stopped.

Anyone know why both the Swan and the Dolphin are sold out for April 18-25 next year? I find it very odd that they are both sold out this far in advance. Thanks for any insight you may have.

I think schools in the Northeast have April vacation. There may be other factors as well?

I know schools have April vacation in the Northeast. I am a teacher and I go every April vacation and have never seen the Swan and Dolphin sold out for this time period. Especially given that Easter is nowhere near this week.
There has to be some other factor involved.

It’s a convention. Idk what convention but weird sold out dates at Swolphin are inevitably convention blocks. They don’t always stick so keep watching. Most common release is like 30 days out.

Also play with you dates. It’s might only be sold out for a specific date.

It is a convention block but the actual dates are April 19 thru April 22 for the Swan & Dolphin. The Swan Reserve is wide open. Also the Dolphin is sold out April 13 thru 15 but the Swan & Swan Reserve are wide open for those dates.

I have stayed during a big convention once. They kept closing various areas including the pool to regular guests. Ugh!

Yes if the convention wants a pool side reception they will get it. They often close dining venues for lunch or dinner events for small group breakout meals even if the main convention is catered for B/L/D.
