If you have any Suite Night Awards in your Bonvoy account, you could book a regular room at the Reserve and then use your awards to upgrade to a Suite. That's what we did last weekend.

Just a note that you can use Suite Night Awards to request an upgrade to a suite. It's not at all guaranteed.

do you think the updated rooms are worth around ~40 dollars a night more then the dolphin for the dates im looking at?

Personally, yes. I would pay around $50/night more for Swan. The bathrooms are bigger, room is nicer, and the Swan itself is smaller and a bit closer to the boardwalk. I didn't realize how much the size difference is until I stayed at both, and Swan really is much easier to navigate and get around.
