Resort Thread Walt Disney World SWAN, DOLPHIN & SWAN RESERVE Resorts

If you can't find your reservation under "My Trips" go to the next link to the right, "Sign In or Join". I have found my reservation using this method when there is a difference in my profile and how the information was transmitted from Priceline.

Dave

Thanks for the tip, but I tried that and all I see is "We do not have upcoming reservations on file for you."

I'm sure that it'll appear at some point.

In case anyone else is as big a fan as I am of both the Swolphin and the Bonnet Creek properties, I thought I'd share the link for the new JW Marriott over at Bonnet Creek. This is not the new hotel across the street from the Swan/Dolphin, it's over by the Hilton Bonnet Creek and the Waldorf. It looks amazing and I hadn't seen these renderings yet. I will be looking forward to a stay there!

The manager at the Swan has taken care of DD and DGS. They are moving them to an Epcot view with a balcony today. Very pleased with Swan. Not so much with Costco. My thoughts are that the problem was Costco's fault. Both are blaming each other but the Swan showed great customer service where Costco did nothing to help. DD said she will deal with Costco when she gets home. Will think long and hard before I book travel through them again. But would not hesitate to stay at the Swan again.

We booked our trip through Costco last February. Our reservation was finally just linked to our MDE TODAY and it is missing our daughter. We called Disney and they told us to call the Dolphin, the Dolphin told us to call Costco and Costco has to look into it and it may take a few days. Our FP+ window opens in 2 days, I am not feeling the Disney magic right now. This is our 2nd stay at the Dolphin, I love the resort but I do not think that I will book it through Costco again.

Someone having a problem linking their Priceline stay at the Dolphin suggested booking the lowest-cost Disney resort for your Dolphin dates, so that you can book FP+ at your 60 day mark, then cancel Disney resort when your Dolphin stay links. Not my idea - just passing their idea along.

I added my kids 2 days ago on a Priceline Express deal at the Swan. Call the Dolphin directly and press the prompt for Guest Services. Once you get someone from Guest Services ask them to connect you to In House Reservations. Once you get there someone should be able to add your daughter.

It worked for me at the Swan.

The problem with that idea is you need to have park tickets linked to your MDE at all times. So if you book a room with tickets package and make your FP+'s, then the Dolphin room get's linked onto the account and you then cancel your WDW package your MDE will show that you don't have tickets and you will lose your FP+'s. We just switched from POFQ to Swan and were able to keep our FP+'s, because we had purchased our park tickets separate and had them linked in MDE, so when we canceled our room only ressie for POFQ our FP+'s were fine, because our MDE still showed park tickets.

Good point, if you don't already have tickets or AP.

The Swan is branded as a Westin and the Dolphin is branded as a Sheraton.

I think it would work in this case because Costco delivers the tickets separately from the hotel reservation. It's not linked as a traditional package. So as long as they got the tickets applied for everyone in MDE, they could do a duplicate reservation I think. It all just seems unnecessarily complicated.
