Walt Disney World SWAN, DOLPHIN & SWAN RESERVE RESORTS Information & Questions

I was looking at next Oct. 27-31. No rooms available at this point. Is that when the Gartner takes place, or am I looking too far out?

Do they sell dishes individually or just under the all-included package?
I am not sure but I would thin not. One price covers everything.
Anyone done one of the seminars? I’m intrigued by the Spanish wine one but $85 for one hour with no clue what it will entail is a bit high of a gamble for me.
I do not know, but I'm sure someone here will know

Actually you are slightly early for the booking calendar. Marriott normally posts 50 weeks out. The Gartner Conference at the Swan & Dolphin is always the 3rd Full week of October. That would be Oct. 20 - 23, 2025.

Is there some kind of promotion where you can add a second room to your reservation for not much money? If so, how do you do that? Do you need to call the hotel? I vaguely remember hearing about this...

Looking to do three nights in a corner room and a normal room with connecting doors next year.

Promotion is for second room at 25% off. I don’t know if you pay rack rate, or if you can use other rates. I also don’t know if it has to be parents and kids only. If you go to swandolphin.com, you should be able to find the description of the offer.

I know they give you water in your room but I assume it's just 2 bottles, right? We are big water drinkers. Is there a water bottle refill station anywhere in the Dolphin where we could fill out big bottles to take to our room? We won't have a car so a grocery run is out.

Ask housekeeping. They will give you what you want. Plenty of water.

Swan & Dolphin, likely because they are competing with Disney has some of the highest service standards I have seen across the Marriott brands of hotels (excluding Ritz Carlton). They'll get you the water you want!

Often I have found the rooms stocked with more than 2 even on arrival. Check the dresser and the fridge. As others have mentioned they have no issues sending more.

I think it's called "Stay connected" and you do need to call to get the promotion. It's not available to book online.

The offer online says 25% off "regular rate", but you are able to combine a discount for the first room and then the 25% off the connected room. My confirmation doesn't show the actual cost breakdown, but the total wound up being cheaper than what I had priced out online for two separate rooms with the nurse discount.

We are taking our "kids", but they are all over 18. No issue with getting the discount for a group of 6 adults.

Wow, wonder if this works with AP discounts?

Has anyone else noticed how slow Swan, Dolphin, and SR are to add your nights on your Bonvoy account? We checked out 8 days ago and still not on our account. I know, I know -- it can take up to 10 days, but these hotels are consistently the slowest to update. Granted, they are very large with a ton of guests, but when you are reaching the end of the year and need those stays to keep your status it is mildly irritating.

My husband stayed last night at a Delta Hotel and the stay is already in there! That is what led me to vent and post.

Anyone else felt the same way? Or is it me just (im)patiently waiting. :surfweb:

My guess is that updating the Bonvoy is low priority, plus they wait for all charges to come in. Much like the issues that used to happen with updating MDE I think these processes are done semi-manually. I wonder if the hotel software is not using the same as Marriott corporate, at least that's my best guess.

Has anyone ordered the Santa's Stocking or Winter Wonderland Bag? I see it on the website and wondering if it is worth it (for an 8 year old).

@Boardwalk_bride Do you have a link? I'm not seeing it. That said we stayed at Dolphin over Christmas years ago (2007) and we had ordered a Stocking for our boys, they loved it. Assuming it's anything like that I'd say yes. It was in our room when we checked in (after a very long trip from the left coast) so it made it extra special for our kids.

Thanks for the response. Here is the link: https://swandolphin.247activities.com/

I finally made my decision and booked the Swan for my June trip. The AP rate was amazing. now time to dig into this thread.

Quick ?-- is the balance due at checkin or before?
