Walt Disney World resorts will begin offering international flight check-in service

I saw that too.

Hopefully they will add WestJet, Air Canada and SunWing to this list because if they don't, it won't help me flying out of Toronto.

Typical! POR starts after we get home!!!
Would have been nice to make our stupid'o'clock departure a bit easier :rolleyes2

yeah that's what my thoughts were when i saw the list I think only one or two of the current airlines have international flights.

When we stayed at POR last April, I went to guest services and they checked me in to our Air Canada flight no questions asked. We rent a car, and don't need DME. Is this different?

yup the resort airline check in thing is for magical express to transport your bags to the airport for you instead of putting it under the bus, or driving yourself to the airport. I think most resort if they aren't busy will print your boarding pass for you.

I'm excited for this. It won't help with our next trip as we're flying Sunwing and I'm doubtful that charter airlines would ever sign on for this service, but we normally fly with United, and the lines at the check in counter can be frustratingly long.

I have flown United, American, Alaska, US Airways, Delta from Vancouver. So there are alot of options for us on the West Coast.
