Walt Disney World Detail (with Aerial Images) *Updated page 20, post #297*

is there anyway to see the utilidors in the MK. I have always wanted to see that underground system. i heard they have their own fire station, police station, and hopsital down there. Thanks

No not really. The best way, if you're over 16 years old, is to take the Keys to the Kingdom tour. I believe that tour goes down in the Utilidors (someone please correct me if I have the wrong tour). But, I've heard they are fairly strict about not taking pictures down there. I've never been down there myself, but I'd love to see it someday.

Joe is right, take the Keys tour and you will visit the Utilidoors. But no pictures can be taken there, you can't even have your cell phone on! But it is worth the price of the tour to see behind the scenes of the Magic Kingdom.

Thanks Joe for all the great shots, Keep them comming!

Interesting thread! I've had fun showing the girls where we will be in a few weeks. Thanks :thumbsup2

I'm looking at this from maps.live.com, and its cool to see that that path (leading towards the main entrance of MK), goes right into a parking lot behind Tommorowland. The best thing is, this road passes RIGHT next to the resort monorail. Next time I'm riding, I'll make sure to look for this parking lot, although it is heavily covered by trees. :)

Actually, it's the express monorail beam.

From the monorail, all that you will be able to see is the underpass where the train goes over the road. Everything else is very well hidden.

If you go to MK during a peak period, there is a good chance that you will exit thru this area during a parade if you were to leave or wish to cross the street. Backstage here is an alternate exit when you just can't move on Main St.

THANK YOU! You've confirmed (in my mind) that I'm not cracking up. I exited here on an early trip and on the more recent trips it never made sense to me. Now I get it.

Thanks for clearing this up. It would be cool to exit from there.
