Does anyone know if there will be a WDW 40th Anniversary Collector Plate/s?

If such will be sold: (a) they will not be a limited edition, (b) once the Anniversary is over those unsold will be remaindered at about 25% of their original price, and (c) they will never have any increase in value and will never even have their cost recovered if you try to sell them.

Thanks Cheshire Figment for your reply. I collect Disney plates, just for the love of everything Disney. I have a couple of the 25th Anniversary ones and was just interested in knowing if a 40th Anniversary plate was being produced?

I'm would not sell any of my plates. I'm from the UK and collectors plates are not normally available through the Disney Stores. I've only every bought them direct from the parks. My next trip isn't until 2013.

Does anyone know if a plate is being produced?

I know this is a REALLY late reply but its worth a try, I have 12 40th Anniversary Walt Disney Plates for sale which were inherited not too long ago, they each come with certificates and still in their original shipping styrofoam covers, if your are still interested in them I could make you a deal on them before I place them on Ebay, let me know, thanks
