walmart near Buffalo Airport???

Can anyone tell me if there is a walmart anywhere near the buffalo airport????

Near-ish if that makes sense. There is a Target closer. Go to the Target website and search locations. Put in zip 14225. The Wal Mart near the Galleria is pretty gross and old.

Depending on what bridge crossed you have several options. As the previous post says the closest airport Wal Mart is a the Galleria.
Eyewitness accounts describe the location as not too modern or clean. But are you at Wal Mart for the prices or the decor?

There is a Wal Mart in Niagara Falls US and one in Amerhest just north off the I-290 you will go right by this location if you take the Queenston-Lewiston or Rainbow Bridges on your way to the Airport in Buffalo.

There are also several Target stores along the way.

I was at the Walmart in Niagara Falls @ 10pm a few weeks ago and they closed @ 11pm. The one in Amherst just off I290 on Niagara Falls Blvd is also open til 11pm. They may have changed their hours for the upcoming holiday season but I was just there Sept 29/30/October 1.

The transit road location (which is a Wal-Mart SuperCenter) is open 24 hours, and is approx 10 minutes from the Buffalo airport.

In this case, a Wal-mart is not a Wal-mart. I've been to the "Galleria" wal-mart and to the Amherst one and there's no comparison. Not only was the "Galleria" one not modern or clean... it was not stocked the same as the other stores, and the stock they did have was all over the floor. This was mid-week in the summer... not a weekend post-dollar boom day.

I tend to look for children's clothes & toys, and I walked out of that location with nothing. In this particular case, they don't have the decor or the prices. If you want a quick stop for snacks, then it's fine. There's a nice Target across from the Galleria which I think is a better choice.

I found the Wal-mart in Amherst to be larger, cleaner, and to have lots more stock. But, it's a few stops on the highway away from the airport. Better choice for weekend shoppers though

thanks you, the Walmart site does not post hours and says to call the stores, and i don't want to call long distance. So thanks for posting this location as 24 hrs!
