Walmart BF question: Price adj??

Does Walmart do price adjustments for BF items. There is a giant TV at the 8oclock sale and was wondering if i bought for store pick up and picked up at 8 would they adjust price??

Yes but not asking for Ad match...asking for price adjustment, which are not the same thing.

Walmart won't do any price adjusting between the online store and retail store, any day of the year...if you return something, you cannot re-buy it. All loopholes closed. If you want the deal, you have to fight the masses.

Walmart is matching select Target/BB Black Friday prices a week before...so look to see what those are.

My experience has been that the BF items (big deals) aren't available for purchase prior to BF...at least for the big TVs.

Good luck to all. Whether or not stores price match during BF special hours is about as clear as mud. The poster in the blog says they do, but the ads always have said that they don't. So I just sleep in : )

None of the big box retailers (WalMart, Best Buy, Target etc.) match their ads or anybody else's from Black Friday (now Thanksgiving) through Cyber Monday. Nor do they do any price adjustments during that time period. If a store employee does that it is way off policy and could lead to trouble for that employee.

I've ALWAYS price matched Black Friday ads at Walmart...for years! As long as it's the exact same item and in a printed ad that you have with you they've always honored the lowest price on Black Friday. And they are also doing the price matches from Nov 1st - Dec 24th for price adjustments as well if you find a printed ad. All you have to do is take the ad in and they will adjust the price. This also includes anything you've purchased at Walmart.com but want to match to a printed ad.

Now, they won't give you the Black Friday price on something you've already bought or buy after BF.

The last 3 years for sure I know I've done a one stop shop for everything at Walmart that I wanted ad matched from other stores and then did the rest of my shopping at the other stores for anything that isn't sold at Walmart.

If you read under the FAQ section it states right in there that they price match on BF.

"We will match competitors' advertised prices for identical items in stores only on Thanksgiving/Black Friday during times the competitor's ad is valid."

In most cases the TV in the Black Friday Ad and what they sell (normally) are NOT the same identical model. Because of this there would be no price match.

I am not sure about Target's ad match policy but I have heard they are much more stringent than Walmart. Wouldn't hurt to try though...not sure if there will be a true ad for this Friday's sales to match.
