Walkways from Saratoga Springs to DTD Marketplace

Is there a walking path that will take you from SSR to DTD marketplace? I read that they closed the path sometime in July. Is that true. Thanks for your answers.

It is closed. You can't walk that way.

But you can take the boat or walk to the Westside using the walking bridge.

Thanks, Deb (or Bill). What would you recommend regarding SSR location for the marathon weekend? It will just be my wife and I. We have never stayed there before so any information is greatly appreciated.

Deb. If you are running for the marathon, the bus to the start of the race only goes to the Carriage House, It doesn't run around the resort. So you'd probably have to walk to the Carriage House to catch your bus. So close to the Carriage House might be better than taking a long walk the morning you have a long run.
