I'm sure the information is out here somewhere but I have not been able to use the search function. OF the 3 Universal Resorts can you walk to any parks or are you subject to the boat? Does the boat take a long time? Can you drive and not pay for parking at the resort - is that better?

Thanks!

I have stayed at both HRH and PBH. It is an easy walk to the parks from both properties.

I'm not very fit, but I'm VERY impatient, and can't stand to wait for the boats--which, when I was forced to wait by family, took fifteen minutes at most.

It was probably less than fifteen minutes, even. It just seemed longer to me.

Many times, the boat was even waiting for us.

To either property, it is a pretty, well-landscaped walk. HRH is closer to the parks and City Walk.

Very roughly, HRH is about a five minute walk, RPR is about a 10-15 minute walk, and the PBH is about a 15-20 minute walk ...

When we were there a few weeks ago we timed the walk from RPR to IOA at 7 minutes. From HRH to USF it's about 4-5. I'd add another ten or so onto that if you are walking from the PBH.

We're pretty fast walkers with no little kids, just adults and teens.

Damo: Thanks for the walking times!

My main concern about the RPR was that it was "so much father away from the parks than the HRH".

Now I can see I should not be concerned with a the distance from RPR to parks at all.

:)
