Has anyone ever walked into LTT at lunch, or do you always need an ADR? We are going Oct. 25. Thanks.....;) ;) ;)

We've only gone once--and that was last year during free dining. They were running 20 minutes behind on ADR's and turned at least 10 families away while we were waiting for our seats. Now, that was September and it was free dining, so you might have better luck with the time you are going.

During free dining this year (Sept), we walked in with no problem - it was very slow that day.

I'd all even a day ahead and see about an ADR. Many people prefer dinner on the free dine (and regular dine) since it's a better value.

Thanks. I think maybe I'll call ahead tomorrow to see. It won't be free dining but it is a Saturday. I have reservations at Boma I am going to cancel and I think we'll try LTT instead.;)

We only visit WDW during busy times and LTT lunch is very popular and crowded. My experience is that the restaurant opens at 11:30 but the earliest available ADR is 12:00 which we usually take. So, when we arrive a few minutes before noon, the place is already hopping and as a previous poster mentioned, it is not unusual to wait 15 minutes for your ADR.

Last week of August this year, we saw a few families turned away for lunch while we waited for our ADR (noontime ADR).

It's also possible that it will be crowded than normal now, since they're ending the character meals in January. Just a thought.

The first time we went to LTT, Jan 2007, we went there first thing in the morning and asked if they had anything available for dinner, of course they didn't but they did have 3:30 lunch available, which we took. We felt like we were being rushed the entire meal, never refilled our drinks, things like that. We weren't very impressed at that time. We went this year, January, for dinner w/an adr and it was terrific!
