Walk with DD1 from DTD to Grovesner?

DH, DD1, and I will be arriving Fri afternoon on 10/10 to Disney. DH will be driving 3.5 hours from Ft Meyers, FL, to WDW. (We live in NY, but are visiting in Ft Meyers first). He doesn't want to drive or run around much after getting to the resort, so I figured we could go to MK to show DD the castle, then go to DTD to pick up Pal Mickey (is this sold at World of Disney?) then go the Grovesner and eat at Baskervilles. We will probably be ready for dinner at 7-7:30. Where is the Grovesner resort in relation to DTD and should we walk or drive? Should I make ressies for Baskervilles?
