Walk-Up Experience at Topolino's for Breakfast

We are WDW regulars who haven't been since the pandemic. I have planned a last minute trip for my family of 6 Aug 3-9. The only ADR I really care if I get is Topolino's Breakfast but of course no luck (already using ADR finder services & checking frequently). Anyone attempt to do walk-up there who can share their experience good or bad?

We didn't do walk up, but kept watching the app in the days leading up to our visit. I got one for the perfect time the night before.

We were a party of 2. Did walk-up at 7:30 back in May. About a 10 minute wait.

How did you arrive at the resort?

I asked this on the Riviera board and was told if you go up really early in the AM, like prior to 7 (or whenever the official opening time is) you can usually be seated. I’m in the same boat for our upcoming trip, but I’m crossing my fingers for a 90 day ressie.
