We leave tomorrow and only booked a couple weeks ago, so no luck getting reservations. Wondering if anyone is having luck using the Walk Up option on the site?

I’m wondering the same! And how that works? When do we walk up to LL if we want to try for a dinner reservation?

I didn't try it, but some of the venues (Cafe Orleans, Olga's Cantina, and Lamplight Lounge (Upstairs) come to mind) have a ""Walk-Up List" option on the Disneyland App. I recall seeing it when I was looking into dining reservations the other day.

We used the Walk-Up Wait List at Cafe Orleans in mid-August and for River Belle Terrace this past Saturday. Like others have said, you use the Disney App to do this. You have to wait until the restaurant you want opens (both restaurants we went to open at 11:30) and then you can check wait list times. We were able to get return times of 45 minutes both times, with our tables actually being ready 35 minutes and 30 minutes after joining the wait list.

Just a warning, Olgas Cantina's wait list gets full first thing in the morning for the entire day so if that is somewhere you are interested in going to, you will want to get on that wait list first thing in the morning. I assume they open early because the wait list was full by 9am both days. Nothing there interest me or my wife so we have never tried to join that wait list.

Awesome! Thank you! So if I join the wait list at opening, can I pick a time at dinner? Really appreciate the info!

Yes. We just choose the first available because we wanted to eat lunch the two times we used this feature.

We plan on trying it again for Lamplight Lounge this Friday.

Thank you!! We are going Saturday for my husbands bday. Have a great time on Friday!

We were able to just walk into Plaza Inn on Monday night around 8:30. No Rez, no walk-up list, no line. It's cafeteria-style. They did close the food down right at 9, but we had plenty of time to choose our food and eat.

So I was chatting with an Oga’s CM about this. The wait list will open and close throughout the day depending on the flow of guests inside. So if it’s full at 9am, it maybe open back up again midday or in the evening. I walked past Oga’s around 9:30pm in August and they were taking walk ups at that time.

Plaza Inn only requires reservations for the character breakfast. Lunch and dinner do not need reservations.

Go to Check Dining Availability on the app, select today’s date and Now instead of a time. It will show the restaurants near you and whether or not they are accepting people for the waitlist. You can also see the rest of the restaurants but you may not be able to join the waitlist unless you are closer to that area. The app will also give an estimated wait time and sometimes it can be an hour or more. Best to check the app earlier than you are ready to eat and keep checking as the waitlist will open and close throughout the day. You can even check it from home to get an idea of what tends to be available before your trip.
