Walk-up chances / last minute reservations beginning of August 2021?

Have people been able to walk up or score day of reservations this summer? (at the not super popular restaurants) We have park hoppers and are staying at BC. I didn’t make any ADRs on our HS day(s) because I am hoping to get a boarding group for ROR. Ideally we would ride ROR sometime during the day and eat a table service meal in the world showcase for dinner. On previous trips we have successfully walked up to SCI FI, Kona (multiple times), and Whispering Canyon. BUT on previous trips there was always more ADR availability In general. I like table service as a way to take a break from the heat.

Week of 6/27-7/3 booked these dining options for dinner times ranging from 5:15 to 6:30 pm, booking just an hour or two before:

Beaches and Cream
Il Mulino
The Wave
Whispering Canyon

There were usually more options if we would have been willing to eat after 7 pm.

Last week we walked up to Primetime 50’s at 11am and got in with a party of 12.
