Can you walk to the Boardwalk for Caribbean Beach?

Are their fridge's in the rooms or do you need to request one?

No walk. Or should I say, no side-walk.:rotfl2:
Seriously though, I don't think it is permitted to walk along those roads.

All moderates and deluxes have fridges in the rooms, no worries there.

Sorry, there's no walking path between CBR and the Boardwalk. The maps are kind of deceptive as to distances. CBR is a huge resort, you'd probably have to walk at least a mile to get from your building to the entrance road and out to the highway. Then a very long walk along highways with no sidewalks, and buses and cars flying along till you get to the access road for the Boardwalk resort....you get the idea. Definitely not something you'd want to do.

Probably the quickest way to get to the BW from CBR is to take a bus to MGM, then catch a boat to BW, or walk along the canal from MGM to BW.

As the other respondents have stated, there is no formal walking path or sidewalks between the two. For wahtever reason, the property was not designed for non-motorized vehicle traffic between resorts/parks/other amusements.

That said, you have a a bit of a hard choice- walk where you were not meant to walk, take a bus to Epcot and walk through to the back entrance over to the BW or take a quick, yet relatively expensive cab ride if you don't have a rental car.

I, myself, would walk to the BW and maybe hop a cab back. I have run around the Epcot Resort area and it is difficult but do-able.

You can also take your resort bus to MGM and, instead of entering the park, walk to the Boardwalk. It's about 10-15 minutes. There is also a boat that will take you there.
