We have done the walk through only at Hogwarts and want to know if there is a walk through only line for gringotts. If so, what is the procedure for going through it? Has the procedure for walk though only at Hogwarts changes?

I walked through with my kids and then exited just a little before they got on the ride. Glad I got to see the inside, very cool!!!

I don't believe there is a separate line for walkthru on Gringotts. You basically walk through like riders and exit before joining the mine car.

There is no tour line for Gringotts, but you can walk through the regular line. Just after the "Bank Vault Elevator" part in the line (which is really neat), there is a door to the left that you can exit from.

I wouldn't want to stand in a line to tour gringotts if the wait to get to the ride is 3 hours. I am not doubting the previous posters' experiences. When they went through with the crowd levels, etc., it was one line.

However, if there is only one line and it was packed, it would also take me 3 hours to view everything in the queue, which doesn't make sense in that instance. I was pretty sure there was a separate line when there are heavier crowds. Anyone?

There isn't a separate queue just for touring. If you ask the attendants outside they might let you take a look inside without riding, but that's not guaranteed.

I've noticed a "VIP" line that people with special lanyards and tickets walk in that is empty and may be used by a daring person to look around. However, a Team Member is stationed at various points who checks the lanyard/ticket to make sure you are allowed quick access.

I think I was confused because I remembered reading about the (sometimes) separate Castle Tour and Forbidden Journey lines. I must have just assumed it was set up the same way at Gringotts. Yes, there won't always be a 3 hour line at Gringotts, so it will be up to us to watch the times and get in line to tour the attraction when there isn't much of a wait.

Thanks everyone for clarifying this, and it was a great question, OP, because it will impact how a lot of us tour! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2
