This is awesome news! Always wanted to see in Walts apartment, will definitely be booking for our trip in Feb!!
IThere is a really cool 360 degree view of Walt's Apartment above the Fire House on the iPad application

No merchandise will be able to be purchased. Here are more details as found on the Disney blog: http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/bl...-new-walk-in-walts-disneyland-footsteps-tour/
I called to find out what the tour price would be for a Disney Visa holder or Premium Passport and it's $87.20.
I'm seriously considering doing this tour next month because I have always wanted to see Walt's apartment. When we won a night in the Dream Suite, in all the excitement I forgot to ask for a tour of the apartment, so this is finally my opportunity to see it.
Does anyone know if while on tour you can purchase merchandise at Club 33? Any info would be appreciated.
There is a special discount for Disney Rewards Visa and AAA card holders, Disney Vacation Club members and Disneyland Resort Annual Passport holders). My friend has done the original tour of this twice and loved it. I am sure the new tour will be awesome. Oh and she got a discount for being an AAA member.
I'm guessing no pictures allowed?
I can't wait to do this tour. It was an awesome tour before they added Walt's apartment. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed it when we did it in 2006, even my boys, who were 10 and 7 at the time. My hubby and I will be sure to book exactly at 30 days out...we are going December 12th for my birthday.![]()
