Does anyone know how long the walk is from DHS to Fantasia Mini Golf? We are staying at the Boardwalk, and we are thinking of trying Mini Golf for the first time at WDW. We plan on seeing Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular at 9:30 p.m. on one of the nights of our trip. From there, we were thinking of heading straight to mini golf since it closes at 11 p.m. Would you take a cab from DHS to mini golf?

That would be a far walk crossing heavy sections of traffic. You'll definitely want to drive or uber there

Will it though? Isn't that right next to Swan/Dolphin? You'd just take the path from DHS to the Swan/Dolphon then out to the front to the golf course.

I'm thinking fantasia from front of HS, not Boardwalk lol. Like front exit. Idk why I forgot the walk along the water *brainfart*

I know there is a bridge that goes underneath the highway then a walkway that goes up to the road. That's as much as I know since I usually take the boat to Hollywood Studios. I never really walk it. I know we can take the boat to Swan, but I don't know how crowded the boat will be since the park closes at 9:30.

Boat will definitely be crowded.

So, would a cab be the best option? I haven't really used UBER and I don't know if I trust that system yet. Maybe Disney will get theres going in the next two weeks? lol
If you don't want to walk then probably. The boats are always crowded at park close.

from DHS, wouldn't you have to do the regular walkway back to the BW area bridge, over to swan/dolphin, out the front of the resort and across the street? There is no other shorter path , correct? I just find it hard to believe that it is only 1 mile following that path. BW though the pool area to the center maybe, but somehow that across the bridge and over to the mini golf seems farther, longer. We stay at BCV and BWV every year and almost always walk as the boats are slow, too far in betweeen if you miss, and often crowded-especially at the end of the night.

1. Yup.
2. Correct.
3. It is roughly the same distance as walking to Epcot's IG, give or take.
(You'd turn left when you reach Cresent Lake, instead of going right through the Boardwalk pool.)
The IG route is a bit over a mile.

I just looked on the map I have on my computer to make sure I'm correct on what I saw. There's the pathway that ends up going underneath E. Buena Vista Dr. and has a path after going under the bridge that goes to the street. From the street, it looks like I could walk to Epcot Resorts Blvd. It says that this path is a mile. If I was to walk all the way to the Swan bridge, I think that would be farther.

How's this?

That's the route. I just don't know if it is beneficial to walk or take a cab? Does the whole course close at 11 or can we finish if we start by 11?
TBH I'm not sure a cab will agree to take you.
They line up at DHS and go by order of arrival, this is basically a crossing the road trip, the taxi driver will be at the back of the line for very little money
