Walk from BWV to EPCOT monorail

My husband and I want to get PS for an early character breakfast at either the Crystal Palace or Chef Mickey's on our upcoming trip.

For those who have stayed at the BWV, are you able to get to the EPCOT monorail from the BWV before EPCOT actually opens?

I saw that the monorail starts running around 7:30 am, but I didn't know if one could actually get to it from the BWV path at that early hour.

I couldn't - but I don't know if they have changed their policy - the buses will be running - there is an early morning one that will take you to the park - I think it says Character Breakfasts???? Please correct me if I am wrong.

Guests are not allowed through the International Gateway until Future World opens. In other words, you will not be allowed to walk through EPCOT before it opens to catch the monorail.

I agree with spiceycat - ask at check in (or at the Guest Services Desk) about the early bus that is for those with early breakfast PS arrangements. An alternative would be a cab. They are very easy to get at BWI/BWV. Just ask the CM at the valet desk to call you one. Should pull up in less than 5 minutes. Expect it to cost between $12 & $15, including tip.

Unless the policy has recently changed, the International Gateway opens at park opening. There is only one way open for travel and the attractions (GB and Canada, if memory serves) are roped off. But I have never seen this open for the monorail.

You could take the bus to Magic Kingdom. Then you can get to Crystal Palace (did I hear this was closed for renovations?) or take the monorail to Chef Mickey's.
