Walk from Akershus to Beaches and Cream?

I have made ADRs for Akershus at 8pm and Beaches and Cream for 10pm on our arrival day. How long would that walk take? I will try and move one or the other but both had limited spots open during the week we're there. So we may end up doing dinner with dessert at B&C if that walk isn't too bad.
And once we're at B&C, what would be the best way to get back to AoA?

Depends upon your pace. As two adults, we can do it in 15-20 minutes. With kids, it likely will take longer. Can't help much with getting from B&C to AoA. Don't believe there are any resort-to-resort connections, so you'd have to get to DHS to catch a bus though that would depend on when the park closes. Taxi is always an option.

Is there any other day you can do B&C? I don't think you will be able to make this, mainly because Akershus runs behind. Also dessert is part of your meal at Akershus and I think it's really good so that seems like overkill. Lastly if you feel like you must do both, drop the B&C ADR and just go to the take out window. You can get anything that you would order from sitting down, ice cream wise that is and you are not tied down to an ADR

To get back to your resort:
1)Walk to HS and get on a bus, if they are still running
2) Take a downtown WDW bus and transfer to an AoA bus
3) Pay an uber like $5 to take you back, AoA is very close to the boardwalk area

I agree here, if possible skip B&C entirely for that evening and move the ADR to another day. On both the reasons mentioned; Dessert included at Akershus and the cramped time to get to B&C so soon after. I'd see myself rushing over, while being quite full already and sit there not entirely enjoying the B&C experience to the best. Because it is truly a great place for amazing desserts!

I have gone there after snacking my way around WS or hanging out on The Boardwalk, then treat myself to a yummy dessert. :cloud9:

If later than 9pm and you're still in Epcot WS, strolling to FW's entrance/exit could be quite a nice walk after the crowds have thinned out substantially. And there hop a bus to AoA. :-)

If not keen on walking that way (i.e EMH evening in Epcot), walk to The Beach Club Resort, still after hours and take a bus to DS and change there to AoA. Or another option is to go to the monorail, travel to the TTC, and there change to a bus over to AoA. :rainbow:

There are a few really nice options to choose from. Be sure that Disney will take you back either way you choose. :tink:

But what it all boils down to is... I'd recommend to move the B&C ADR. :earsboy:

You can always do the walk up window at B&C if you are just interested in getting ice cream. The menu is more limited than inside the restaurant (you can't get the kitchen sink, for example), but we find enough to choose from.

I agree... it all depends on your pace AND how much food you can eat in one day.

My young adult kids and I can walk from Akershus to Beach Club in about 15-20 minutes. Taking a Friendship boat is not necessary. In my opinion, it slows you down, unless you are going from Epcot to DHS. Again - depending on your pace and ability to walk long distances.

Now ... taking my experience into account... my family and I ate lunch at Be Our Guest at 11:30 a.m. and then dinner on the same day at O'hana at 8:00 p.m. (we were still stuffed from lunch and realized what a big mistake we had made getting ADR at these restaurants - on the same day!)

I can't imagine wanting or even having room (in your tummy) to eat at Beaches & Cream after the hearty buffet meal which includes all you can eat dessert at Akershus.

I would totally not do these 2 restaurants on the same day.

I would definitely try to switch B&C to another night. Norway is pretty far from the IG entrance/exit and then you have to walk to BC. Unless you are running, you are looking at at least a 20 minute walk. Taking the boat will take even more time. If Akershus is running late, you'll never make it. Plus, as others have mentioned, you get dessert included at Akershus.

If you end up at B&C at night and need to get back to AoA, a fun way to get back would be to walk over to the Boardwalk, enjoy the entertainment over there and then either walk or boat to DHS and then get the bus to AoA. Or simply take the boat from BC/YC to DHS and bus to AoA. Quickest - cab or uber.
