Walgreens Gift Cards?

has anyone been successful recently purchasing a Disney Gift card @ Walgreens using a Walgreens Gift card? I did it last summer for our trip - just wondering if they are still allowing it before I cash out @ MyPoints.

what would you do? get a walgreens card from mypoints,then take it to the store,and buy a disney gift card? you're allowed to do this?

Yes. You are allowed to do this.
You can use the gift card in the Parks - or you can use them to pay on your reservation (which is what I am doing).

I'm pretty nervous because I have also saved up enough for a$50 giftcard, and I did do it once before awhile ago but that was for $25, so a lil' nervous because I actually can't stand Walgreens so would hate it if I had trouble this time......hmmm decisions

I just did this last week and had no problems. If you are concerned, call the Walgreens and ask them before you cash out.

MyPoints also has PayPal now, so you can cash out for PayPal and then buy the Disney Gift card anywhere with your PayPal debit card!

oh, how does that work, so say I just go to Disneystore.com or any online retailer that sales Disneycards and when promted just say I want to pay thru paypal?

WOW I just looked Paypal is 8,800 pts for $50
I normally just do Kohls and right now it is only 6,950 pts for $50 I'm having sticker shock
Walgreens is 7,150

why was I thinking it was only like 5500 or 6000 pts for a $50 card??? did the pts go up?
