Walgreens GC to buy Disney GC?

I have enough on "My points" to get $35 in Walgreens GC's. Is it still possible to use them to get Disney Gc's? I have done this many times in the past and the stores around here do let me. I just want to make sure the system still allows it. Anyone done this recently?

I just used my -MyPoints $50 Walgreens GC to buy a $50 Disney card here in Phoenix area. As with about a dozen other times, as long as you don't walk in and ask "can I buy a GC with a GC?", it should be fine. I always buy a few other things, ring them up along with the GC, then say I want to use 2 forms of payment or just go ahead and slide your GC and the register should take off the $50, then pay whats left. Never been turned down unless I asked thdreaded question- Can I? The system has no problem with it.

Wonderful! Thanks so much. Yep, that is how I always approached it before. I simply just scanned my WG gc as if it were any other type payment and it worked perfectly. I just hadn't done it in a long time so wanted to be sure. I have a few GC from mypoints on the way to me. I just hope they get here before my end of Oct trip!
