Wal Mart Price Matching

Does anyone know if Wal Mart prices the items in the Walgreens ad that require a coupon? I have been to Walgreens twice to get the boxes of $1.50 Turtle candy and they have been sold out.

Yes they do price match. I purchased an item from them and then noticed another company had it for sale. I took the ad into Wal-Mart and they gave me back the difference between the two prices. No problem!!

My Walmart, and anyone I've ever been to won't price match a store's coupon.
Something about Walgreens (or wherever) turn those in to Walgreen's corp for the difference of the coupon, so it's not a true "sale". At least that's the reason they've always given me. Sounds if-y.

I agree that this sounds if-y, simply because so many places accept competitors coupons. Stop & Shop will accept the Shaw's "thank you" coupons. About once a month Shaw's mails $4, $6 or $8 coupons (valid when spending $40, $60 or $80) and I can take them to Stop & Shop instead. I don't see why Walmart couldn't accept the Walgreens coupons.
