I agree! For the money those people are paying, buses should be the tops. I know I say how much I love POR, but truth is the buses are a huge part of that. I've never had a wait time coming or going from POR. And the buses only stop at POR/POFQ. Not 5 other places!

They did do a great job! My huuby was worried they would make her look Toddler & Tiaras like I told him they didn't do that.

Kadence makes us laugh a lot! She has a great way of saying things!

There will be a lack of updates for a little while, My daughter Samantha is not in good shape right now. For the last year she has been having abdominal pains. We had been to the ER once 6 months ago ,where they found nothing. She is a stubborn, stubborn girl like her Momma, and hasn't made an appt to get it checked out further.
With her being 18, I can't force it, but to yell at her to do so. Last Tuesday she called from college crying, shaking and having a hard time breathing because she was in so much pain, I got her to get a fellow student to help her to her room and thought she was being taken to the ER, but because her pain subsided, she declined.
She called again on Weds and by Thursday I talked her into go to the dr. Blood work and an ultrasound later, it was determined she has a lot gall stones, with one being stuck in her common duct. Her Liver counts were off the charts, her kidneys were not working properly and her bilirubin levels were up. They wanted to admit her into the hospital right away. I talked them into let me bring her home to our hospital.
It was then discovered that they couldn't treat her because she was too sick. She was transferred to another bigger hospital and they first did an ERCP, a scope down her throat and in to her stomach, cutting through a muscle to get the stuck stone as it was causing the major issues, but at the same time it was discovered that her pancreas levels were way over 10,000 which is bad. Any damage to her pancreas would make her into a bad diabetic immediately.
She has been hooked to an IV since Thursday, with antibiotics, pain & nausea meds. We are currently waiting to see of her levels can come down far enough to do the surgery needed to removed her gall bladder. Tonight the surgeon has said if her levels in her organs come down enough, he can operate Sunday morning around 9am. If not she will be staying in the hospital until she can have to surgery. (side note: hospital chairs are not comfortable, my back & backside are screaming!)
If you are praying people, I ask prayers for her. I figure it couldn't hurt to have a few extra ones out there!

I was just about to send you a message via Facebook to ask how Sam was doing. Please know that the prayer warrior in me will be out in full force praying that Sam's levels become well enough for the doctors to perform the surgery and that she recovers quickly.

Prayer sent from here. I just had my gallbladder out last March; I had bad, increasing pain for several months but no stones and DEFINITELY not as serious as Sam's. The surgery was very quick and when I woke up I could tell that something bad inside of me had been taken out; it was very obvious. And though there was pain after the surgery, it was much cleaner and more manageable than the gallbladder was.

I let it go too long too (stubborn as well) and it was scary to see my pancreas levels rising on the blood test, though my liver function numbers were right on track. After seeing all the test results, I dropped the stubbornness and had the surgery pretty quick.

I hope they got to operate this morning, and she's already on her way to healing.

Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry yall are going through this right now! I sincerely hope that Samantha will be back to normal soon and that everything can and will go smoothly. Definitely will keep her in my prayers.

I'm so sorry Sam is going through all this. She's definitely in my prayers for a fast recovery and return to school. But you are too. I can't even imagine how scary that is to have your child that sick.

Hang in there.

On the up side, I'm all caught up again. When you get back to life's more frivolous things, like TR's, I'll be patiently waiting.

BTW...... I've never seen SO many gorgeous photos from one BBB photo sitting. You have an absolute natural on your hands.
