Waitlists

It looks like one of my two waitlists for June opened up! I've been checking the DVC member profile regularly with no luck. Checked tonight and it looks like one of them changed (it was just a booked view at the BWV). However, I haven't received any notification, etc. Did it really change??

Others that have gotten Waitlisted and they opened up, how did you find out?

You should receive something in the mail. MS no longer calls you to confirm.

The Disney Gods must have been in a generous mood today. Our waitlist for April came through today, too. We will just wait for the updated paperwork. Have fun!

Things that make you go hmm! I decided to check my waitlist for 5/11-5/16 at the BWVs after reading this thread and I see mine has come through as well.

I have been checking my waitlist everyday for the last 2 weeks and yesterday, it came through!

And for OP, if you see the change on your reservation, then you have it. I always like to check the Activity section to find out when they actually did it. That would also confirm it for you.

Keeping my fingers crossed for one more night - two of my waitlist requests came through yesterday - and I didn't request them until Sunday afternoon!!!!

I called MS today to ask where my confirmation was and I remebered this thread so I asked about my waitlist and it came through yesterday too. July 14th preferred veiw at BWV. I am so excited I now have the whole week, I was so scared I had to move one day in the middle of my stay. I had to do that in Nov. and I hated it.

glad my post help a lot of people. Since most of the luck has been at BWV, lets hope they're doing one resort at a time and my AKV waitlist for June will open up as well!!!!!

I was all excited I went to check mine..and nothing.

Oh well, it's not a big deal, we have a 1 bedroom at HH in June reserved, which is all we really need(only have 2 kids and they're still little), but we waitlisted for a 2 bedroom just because.

Just checked our, no luck. But Congrats to everyone else!!! Ours was for HH also, so maybe that is the reason. No biggy, we have a cash ressie backup, but would rather use the points.

No luck on my BWV boardwalk view studio Oct. 31. Oh, well. It's still many months away so I'm thinking eventually it will come through.

Just a thought, but there could be an influx in availability due to maintance fees not being paid. I don't know when DVC starts cancelling reservations because of unpaid fees, but I know it's in the contract.
