Waitlisted for Spring 2014?

So I applied for the first time for this upcoming semester of the college program. After all the interviews and waiting I received an email saying I did fine during the interviews but all the spots were filled. I was told I was still in consideration and if any spots opened up I would be notified by January 3rd. To be honest I'm still on the edge of my seat waiting to hear from the program again but I was curious if anyone was in the same situation or has been in the past. Always easier to share the experience with others.

I believe this is the first year Disney has informed people that they are waitlisted (don't quote me though!)

In previous years there have been people that were pending all the way up to a week before the program started though!!

I wish you the best of luck!! And remember you made it this far which, for this program, is incredibly difficult!!

My daughter was in a waitlist group too. She was told that she would be in consideration till 12/5 but they actually sent an e mail on 11/27 to end the waiting - that they were full. I guess they are still keeping a few in reserve in case kids that have accepted back out.

I did a search on this board and found a couple of similar experiences a couple of years ago. Also on facebook, a father mentioned they knew of someone who got called up and was at WDW within a week.

Good luck but suggest you definately have a plan B...
